Clarksville Academy, a pre-K through 12th-grade college preparatory independent school, is excited to welcome Steadman Bell as their varsity football head coach. Coach Bell joins the academy with an impressive track record as an assistant football coach at Nashville Christian School.
During his time at NCS, the team reached two state championship games and made four semi-final playoff appearances. Before NCS, Bell was a part of the coaching staff at Dickson County High School and even assisted the Vanderbilt football program in the 2016 season.
“Steadman Bell is the kind of man we want growing our athletes,” CA Athletic Director Matt Hoppe said. “His knowledge of football, passion for coaching, positive attitude, and drive for leading great athletes and great men were just a few of the qualities we wanted in a head coach. He has a reputation for being a strong leader on and off the field. We have a solid program at CA, and we want to see it continue to grow. The next few years are critical to the success of football at CA, and I am confident Coach Bell is the man to lead us. ”
Steadman Bell, a Langston University graduate with a BS in Health Physical Education, Recreation Wellness, will join Clarksville Academy’s staff as both the admissions and college guidance assistant, as well as the varsity football head coach.
